Obituary for Laura Lynn Hoelting

Laura Lynn Hoelting, 50, of Gilbert, AZ, passed away on August 23 rd 2020.

Laura was born in St. Charles, MO on October 14 th , 1969. She graduated from St.
Charles High School and continued on to receive a Masters Degree in Occupational
Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis, MO.

Laura’s passion for helping others was the reason she pursued a career in Occupational
Hand Therapy. She had many patients who adored her not only for her ability to heal
but her ability to make them smile and laugh. She enjoyed the outdoors, hiking,
kayaking, paddle boarding, and traveling. Her decision to move to Arizona was centered
around her love for the outdoors and she was always seeking the next adventure. She
ran and completed numerous marathons around the country, including the Boston
Marathon in 2004. She recently celebrated her 50 th birthday by taking a trip to Peru to
hike Machu Picchu. Most of all she loved visiting and spending time with her nieces and
nephews back home in Missouri and Illinois. She was a loving daughter, sister, niece,
aunt, godmother, and friend and will be truly missed and always remembered by those
who loved her. In most recent years, Laura’s faith in Jesus Christ was her passion and
we find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace with the Lord in Heaven.

Laura is survived by her mother Lynn Hoelting, sister Lisa Brinkmann (David), sister
Lynda Offerman (CJ), brother Ryan Hoelting (Kelly), her nieces Addysen Hale, Elliott
Hoelting, and Olivia Offerman, nephews Jeremy Brinkmann (Jessica), Evan Brinkmann,
Rainn Hoelting, Austin Offerman, and great nephew Brayden Brinkmann, and many
aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Buyan and Ralph and Eleanor Hoelting.
