It was in my pastor's book to check up with you this week, what a wonderful service that Falconer is offering. I'll stop in anyway and please know that all of you are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. Larry is ever so close to me as I work in the rangelands that we both love so very much.

Condolence: We're sorry to hear about the passing of Larry, and offer our condolences to the Ellicott family. When I met Larry for the first time, I was not formally introduced to him when we arrived on Forest Road 81 in Happy Jack for camp outing 4 years ago. He was parking all the trailers as we arrived, and he was directing me on where to park. Even though I thought I had the perfect spot, apparently he didn't think so, he made pull forward and back 3 times until I was in the perfect spot in his plan. He introduced himself and Sherri to us, and made us feel like we were part of the Ellicott family from that day forward, between the early morning camp coffee chats, taking pictures of hummingbirds, and his camping wisdom. Our family will always cherish that time we had together.
Good bye ole' friend, may God be with you forever.

Condolence: Larry, you will truly be missed. You always had a smile, a positive outlook, and a great sense of humor. I still remember what you wrote in my autograph book when I was only 10 years old. "As you slide down the banister of life, think of me as a splinter along the way." Never a splinter, always a pleasure to be around you. I worked closely with Larry through my 10 years in Flagstaff, and on and off through later years in Arizona. Larry was always willing to teach, help, and encourage. I appreciated him as a colleague and friend through good times and bad. I'm very saddened to learn of his passing. Billie and I send you our best wishes and pray for God's blessings to you in this difficult time.

Condolence: I was very sorry to hear that Larry had passed away. I first met him back in 1988 when he was the Area Range Specialist in Flagstaff and I had just begun working for the NRCS. I learned a great deal from him on various days spent on the rangelands of the Arizona Strip, and he played a significant role in my development and learning. I am going to miss his smile and the chance to visit on the occasions when we saw each other in Phoenix over the past few years.
