Obituary for Charles Hull Sr.
Charles Richard Hull, Sr., 82, of Sun Lakes, AZ passed away on Monday, July 4, 2011 at Hospice of the Valley in Gilbert.
Chuck was born June 21, 1929, the son of Harrison and Gladys Hull in Albany, NY. He spent his youth in the Albany, NY area.
Upon graduation from high school he joined the Army in 1947 and was stationed in Europe until his discharge in 1952.
After returning from the Army he attended and graduated from Union College in Schenectady, NY.
Chuck worked a few years for the Union Pacific railroad which was the profession of his family for 2 generations.
He moved to CA and married Mary Frances Lonergan in 1960. They had 3 children, Richard, James, and Thomas and lived in Santa Barbara, CA for 6 years. They then moved to Mission Viejo, CA.
Chuck met Sandra in 1986 and they were married on 2/4/2000 and resided in Mission Viejo with her son, Michael. Chuck retired from the OCTA in 2005 after 15 years of service. Chuck and Sandra have resided in Sun Lakes, AZ since 2005.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Sandra, step-son, Michael, sons, Richard and James, and grandchildren, Hannah, Britney, Chandler, and Paris and his ex-wife, Mary Frances Hull. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, and his son, Thomas.
